Most guys (age 0-12) have zero experience handling the reins to speech. "Boy chat" is about totalitarian chest thumping, the respect ballet, and trying to overthrow the ruling alpha male. All guys grow up with the impression that disputes can (and maybe should) be resolved with a dusting of wanton violence. Guys secretly harbor a suspicious that something else is "out there" under the social-order umbrella.
Girls that overlook a male's limited speaking facilities are highly prized. Deep down, guys really want to express their lives, learn new tricks, and engage in bi-directional sharing. Guys will never learn the idioms of language in the company of guys.
Boys are born mute and live that way for a long time. Girls that can gift a guy with the spark of conversational elegance will be chased.
Guys need another set of eyes in their life. Gentlemen without women (or bitches, if you will) are kind of clueless. Being a guy, and getting advice from another dude is pointless. Concrete female opinion based on reason and without bitchiness, is not just welcome, but appreciated.
Google's secret sauce is partially powered by the human choices of millions. If something is at the top of the results, it's partially because the masses voted it up. It's a great way to see what the masses want.
